Building a Digital Legacy for 23 Years of courageous Leadership

The Center for Women's Leadership has spent 23 years cultivating courageous leaders across Oregon. When they came to us, they were navigating a significant transition, moving from an institutionally housed program to a fully independent community-based organization. They needed a digital presence that honored that legacy and was ready for what comes next. We built it in two weeks.

PROJECT DETAILS & GOALS

This was a collaborative sprint built on trust and a tight timeline. An independent team of three consultants came together through the AMA PDX Agency Consulting Hour to support CWL during a pivotal moment in their 23-year history. In 14 days we delivered brand strategy, communications planning, web design, and full technical implementation from kickoff to launch.

I led web design, development, technical systems, and the copy framework that guided the page structure and content. Renee Garcia led brand strategy and visual design. Alexandra Hagel led communications and messaging strategy.

New Digital Home

After 23 years, CWL was stepping out from under institutional housing at PSU and into full independence. They needed a website that was entirely their own, built to reflect their identity and serve as the foundation for their next chapter.

Donor Friendly

As an community organization the site needed clear giving pathways, integrated donation functionality with their fiscal sponsor's platform, and messaging that made it easy for supporters to say yes.

Easy-to-Use

The CWL team needed to be able to manage their own site without technical support. Everything was built for simplicity, with training and handoff documentation so they could hit the ground running from day one.
